Hire terms and conditions

Terms and Conditions

All equipment for hire is subject to availability.

The hirer will be competent and have adequate experience to use our canoes or kayaks.

The hirer will take full responsibility for all of the equipment that is hired from us.

Any loss or damage to any of our equipment must be paid for in full.

In order to hire equipment we require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost to be sent to Lakes Canoe & Kayak. If making a booking within 7 days of the intended hire date then we require the full amount to be paid. If you cancel within this time you will forfeit 25% of the total cost.

For all hire bookings, we require proof of indentity. A copy or a driving licence, passport and/or a utility bill. Also, we will take a £100 cash deposit on the day of hire for each boat which will be returned when all of our equipment is returned and free from any damage.

All of our equipment is to be collected from our Ullswater base or if you have requested we will deliver to anywhere on Ullswater for a small fee.

Phone 017684 86465 , email or fill in our booking form for availabilty.

We will then email or post a booking form to which must be completed and signed. Post this along with a 25% deposit of the total hire cost and once received we will confirm your booking. All payment details are on our terms and conditions form that is sent to you.
